the ideal man
Well, it’s been a long, long, long time.
I’ve been busy though.
I started school on Oct. 11, it’s working out good although accounting is NOT very interesting. Be that as it may, in some group assignments I have had at least two actual vehement disagreements with people about a) how to title a balance sheet…or was it an equity statement. (I was actually mostly wrong.) b) how to post a general journal entry into T-accounts and prepare a trial balance. (turns out we were so offtrack that we were both wrong.)
But anyway…it’s not that hard. You just have to keep track of EVERYTHING.
and I have no homework today…which is nice.
anyway other news: NEW COMPUTER!!! even if it belongs to Mom and Dad…it’s awesome. SO fast. I would list the specs, because I actually do know them, but I’ll leave the geekiness to my other half.
Speaking of which, we would never have got here without that geek. I have decided that the ideal man is no longer a wood-chopping, picture-hanging, eavestrough-cleaning, lawn-mowing handiman. The Ideal Guy, in this day and age, is….a geek. He is there whenever you need him. He fixes everything. There is nothing he can’t do. Your mother loves him. Your dad grudgingly respects him. He is the saviour of your family, to the extent that your mom calls HIM, your boyfriend, the son-in-law type that she’s not supposed to trust, to ask him to fix her computer.
So I guess I am dating the ideal guy. He gained a lot of brownie points this week, lemme tell ya.
and it doesn’t hurt that he can do lots of other stuff too.
oh yeah and I love him!
sweet deal
